Average Positive Calcutta

My process for TCS felt straightforward and well organized. The technical part centered on programming fundamentals and problem-solving, and it also touched SQL and basic computer science concepts. The difficulty landed around average, and the whole thing had a clean flow that didn’t feel chaotic.

By the end, I felt like I understood what they were assessing, but I still didn’t get selected. It wasn’t a frustrating experience so much as a “close but not quite” feeling—like I performed well enough to follow the questions, yet not enough to cross their bar.

Average Positive Greater Noida

I went through a Priority Campus NQT hiring flow that felt structured and clearly staged: an online assessment, then a technical interview, and finally an HR interview. The online test followed the familiar aptitude and reasoning pattern, and it also included two coding questions. Once I cleared that, I was shortlisted for the Digital track.

After that, the technical interview leaned heavily on my resume. The interviewer asked me to walk through my projects and cover core computer science basics. I also got a DSA question, a couple of DBMS questions, and I was quizzed on Git basics like remembering and using common commands. Toward the end, I was asked about fundamental concepts from areas like computer networks and operating systems, and the tone stayed encouraging.

Feedback & Outcome

While many candidates felt the interview process was fair and aligned with their preparation, several reported not receiving offers, leading to reflections on the importance of coding performance versus aptitude.
