After a recruiter touchpoint, I ended up in a fairly relaxed technical conversation where the focus was mostly on core electronics and networking fundamentals. I got pulled into basic electronic concepts, then quickly moved into networking material like the OSI and TCP/IP models, common networking protocols, and the usual networking tools. A big part of the discussion was also my project—how it was implemented, what problems came up, and what my actual contributions were.

What stood out to me was how much they wanted me to connect theory to traffic behavior. I was asked to walk through network traffic and packet flow, explain how protocols behave, and talk through basic monitoring and troubleshooting. The overall difficulty felt manageable, and the vibe was more about clarity and understanding than trick questions. I didn’t get an offer, but the process still felt straightforward and easy to follow.

The interview felt easy overall. It started with a quick introduction, and then they asked about my favourite subjects—control systems, digital circuits, and signals and systems.

From there, the questions stayed firmly in that lane. I got asked about digital circuits like flip-flops and combinational circuits, and then we moved into signals and systems where Fourier transform came up. It was straightforward, and the difficulty matched the comfort level I had with those specific topics. There wasn’t an offer afterward, but I left feeling like it was a clean, predictable technical check aligned with my stated interests.
