Average Positive United States

After a recruiter call, the process stretched out with multiple conversations on the phone, including a regional HR business partner and regional HR leadership. I then moved into three in-person interviews: one with the store leader, another that paired the regional HR business partner with the store leader, and a third that included the store leader and the store ETLs. The loop ended with an assessment. Overall it felt very structured, and because there were so many stakeholders involved, the process had a “keep moving through the org” vibe rather than anything casual.

I remember what stood out most was how clearly the sequence was laid out and how I stayed up to speed as I progressed. The questions leaned into the same core areas across interviewers—fit, how I would operate with leaders around me, and how I approached problems when expectations were clear. It was a longer timeline than I expected, but the communication kept me from feeling lost. I ended up getting an offer, and my reflection was that the process tested not just what I knew, but how comfortably I worked through a chain of leadership interviews.

Difficult Positive United States

My process started with recruiter outreach and moved quickly into a multi-step run that felt like it was built to filter me through different levels of leadership. I had several phone conversations, then video interviewing showed up in the middle of it, which felt a little odd compared to in-person, but it still kept the momentum going. The communication was genuinely strong—there were updates that kept me up to speed, and it didn’t feel like I was guessing what came next.

Most of the questions were behavioral and situational, and I got the sense they wanted specific stories tied to teamwork and problem-solving rather than broad summaries. Across interviews, I was asked to use detailed examples and think through scenarios precisely, and I remember being told—directly or indirectly—to keep my responses planned and measurable. In the more technical-leaning portion, I ran into deep architecture-style questions along with SQL tied to my projects, and that part was harder than the purely behavioral discussions.
