Average Negative Washington, DC

I experienced a long, drawn-out process. There were five one-on-one interviews with team members, and it ended with an in-person presentation. The interviews themselves felt casual and pleasant, but the time commitment became exhausting—every round stretched the timeline.

Altogether, it took about six months. What made it especially difficult emotionally was that there was a pause near the end—roughly a month—before I was ultimately rejected. That stop-and-start period made it feel like I was close, and then the outcome landed like a delayed conclusion.

Average Positive United Kingdom

I went through several rounds that mixed technical evaluation with culture fit. The whole process felt like a good, fair assessment rather than a vague chat—people were professional and courteous throughout, and I never got a sense of chaos or gimmicks.

In the discussions, I was asked to think beyond rehearsed talking points and effectively “sell” myself, not just list experience. There was an element of figuring out how my thinking would translate into the role, while also making it clear that I understood what the culture valued.
