I went through a structured automation testing flow that started with an actual assessment rather than just a conversation. After the initial screen, I had a first-round written test centered on Selenium and Java, including MCQs and a Java/scenario-focused programming question involving arrays and scripting behavior.
Once that was cleared, I moved into technical interviews with the internal team, and the client was also involved in a later technical step. The topics stayed firmly on QA automation work—especially coding-oriented questions and API testing depth. The last technical round felt the most intense because the questions skewed heavily toward APIs, and I remember thinking it was a lot to cover in the time they gave.
