After an HR call, I went straight into two interview rounds. Each round was with two managers, and the whole loop felt really tightly organized. The schedule didn’t seem to drift, and every step landed where it was supposed to.
What stood out to me was the pacing after each round: I waited about a week before hearing back from them. Overall the experience felt polished and “flawless,” and I left with the sense that the process itself was respectful and structured, even though I didn’t end up getting an offer.

Difficult Positive South Africa
I started with a first round that mixed people and roles: I spoke with a senior actuary along with the head of the function based in Zurich and an HR representative. The focus quickly turned technical, tied closely to the job spec and also what I’d written on my CV, and the questions felt detailed rather than generic.
A week or so later, I went into a second round with two senior actuaries from Zurich. That stage stayed technical too, with a lot of job-relevant probing, and it was mostly about how I thought through the material and how well I could apply it. I appreciated that they kept things on time and stayed communicative throughout.
