Difficult Positive Bengaluru

My journey started with an initial recruiter call, and then about a week later I got pulled into a technical sequence that looked very similar end to end: three main rounds. The first round was almost entirely SQL, and the questions moved across the spectrum from medium to genuinely hard. It felt like the interviewer wanted accuracy and fluency, not just “I know the basics,” so I had to think carefully about joins and the shape of the results.

After that, the next round shifted into problem-solving. I was given a business use case and asked to propose how I’d solve it, with the biggest emphasis on my approach. The solution itself wasn’t the only thing being judged—how I structured the problem, what I clarified, and how I walked through assumptions mattered a lot.

Average Positive New Delhi

My interview process was fairly lightweight in structure and felt more “manageable” than intense. I had three rounds total in one flow. The first round tested technical fundamentals, mostly around Excel and MySQL. It wasn’t just definitions; it felt like they wanted to see whether I could actually use those tools.

The second round leaned into puzzles and probability and math-style reasoning. That part was more about how I reason under uncertainty rather than repeating textbook formulas. The third round was an HR discussion scheduled after that, focusing on how I think about work and whether I fit the role.
