For the Swiggy ASDE Backend track, the process started with an online assessment that had three DSA questions in the easy-to-medium range. After that, I got a call for the first interview round, which again combined DSA with low-level design.

The round opened with a brief introduction, then I tackled questions that leaned on typical patterns. One prompt was to find the first and last occurrence of an element in a sorted array, which I approached using binary-search style thinking. The way the questions were framed made it clear they wanted correctness on boundary handling, not just a rough approach.

I applied for a Backend Engineer role at Swiggy after HR sent me the OA link directly. The online assessment had three LeetCode-medium style problems: one on sliding window, one described as shortest path in a graph, and a final array/math-style problem about finding an nth root.

After clearing the OA, the next round combined DSA with Java and Spring. The technical topics I saw again were very aligned with the OA themes—sliding window showed up, shortest path in a graph came up, and there was also an array problem around nth root.
