The longest version of the process I experienced felt like a full sequence from OA all the way to an in-person superday, spread across weeks. I first did an OA, then I moved into multiple interview rounds that mixed brainteasers and math concepts, including something like a Markov chain style question in an early hiring-manager stage.
After that, I had additional structured conversations that went beyond basic interviews. I did a call with a trading-person focus where I was asked a brainteaser plus topics that included linear regression and algorithm-style problem solving, and then I reached a data science round built around trading data. The pace was intense and the technical bar felt high, but everyone I interacted with was friendly and sharp, which made it easier to stay engaged.

My process started with an OA and then quickly turned into phone calls. After the assessment, I had HR-led discussions where I was asked probability questions alongside more typical background-style behavioral questions. It felt like they were checking how I approached uncertainty problems and whether I could explain my reasoning without getting lost.
Then I had another technical round where the interviewer was more directly connected to trading, and the interview felt like it tightened around probability problem solving. I was able to answer everything that was asked, but they still decided not to move me forward. Across the rounds, the interviewers were genuinely nice, and I appreciated that the tone stayed constructive even though the process ended without an offer. The hardest part wasn’t the math itself—it was absorbing that I could perform well and still not progress.
