I started with what looked like a pretty normal recruiter screen, and then the process immediately moved into back-to-back meetings with a peer and the role’s manager. There was even a short mock discovery call planned, but the day went sideways when the manager joined late. I ended up running out of time before I could properly debrief the mock, and the whole thing felt rushed rather than thoughtful.
The rest of the experience had a weird aftertaste too. After all the meetings were supposedly “done,” I didn’t hear anything back. I kept expecting follow-ups that never came, and it left me feeling like the effort of preparing mattered less than the silence afterward. Overall, it didn’t feel professional, and I finished the process with more frustration than clarity.

Easy Neutral Sydney
My process felt intentionally organized from the start. I began with a recruiter round that was short and straightforward, and then I moved into a mock discovery call with more managers in the mix. There was also a bit of prep involved where I was sent an email beforehand, so I knew what I was walking into.
From there, I sat through two additional interviews that included time with the hiring manager and an account executive. What stood out to me was how prepared everyone seemed to be, and how transparent the structure felt overall. I wasn’t blindsided by what they wanted to cover, and the recruiter was the kind of person who made sure I stayed on track rather than leaving me guessing.
