After a recruiter call, I ended up doing a fairly straightforward, mid-difficulty run of interviews. The process had four rounds total: three technical rounds and one HR round. Across the technical parts, I got a mix of RCA-style problem solving, puzzles, a few guesstimates, and case-study questions, plus behavioral and resume-grounded questions mixed into that technical rhythm.
Each technical round felt tightly timed, and the questions leaned less toward deep engineering and more toward structured thinking and how I’d reason through ambiguity. I also spent time on questions that were clearly meant to test how well I understood the role and how I approached real-world scenarios rather than just recalling facts.

Average Negative Bengaluru
What I remember most was how messy the communication became long before the actual questions mattered. The process dragged on for months—close to three or four—without clear updates. I applied off-campus and the first round was scheduled with a product consultant who had only been working on the job for about a year. I even got told I cleared the first round after a couple of months, which surprised me because the pace of the rest of the process felt so slow.
As I waited, it became hard to tell whether I was still in consideration at multiple stages, even though I eventually found out I was. The questions themselves were a mix of product sense and case studies, so the content wasn’t the main problem—the lack of clarity around timing and next steps was. Eventually I wasn’t offered the role, but the bigger disappointment was how much I had to chase status updates instead of getting a structured timeline.
