The interview process started off smoothly, but it quickly became stressful after the psychometric test. I missed a call the day before my interview, and when I got back in touch there was no response until the day of. Then I found out they hadn’t told me to complete a video interview, so my original interview was cancelled and I had to do the video interview first and then the main interview—all on the same day.

Once I received an offer, I expected the next steps to be straightforward, but I had questions about the contract and couldn’t get clear replies. I was told I’d receive weekly check-ins, yet I heard nothing for over a month, and by then I was already supposed to have started.

I started with the usual application steps and then heard back to move into a structured process: a screening call followed by an assessment stage, and then a presentation as part of the next interview. The whole flow felt planned, and the people running it made sure the experience didn’t feel overly pressurised even though the tasks were still challenging.

After the recruiter-style phone screen, I completed online testing that included psychometrics with numerical and verbal/non-verbal reasoning. Once that was out of the way, I moved into a longer video interview format that was presented as a focused final stage. It was fairly intensive in terms of time, but the interviewers came across as friendly and I didn’t feel dismissed or talked down to.
