Early on, the flow started with recruiter conversations and then moved into technical discussion, but the timing dragged over more than two months, which honestly made the whole thing feel disconnected from any momentum.
The technical pieces were usually straightforward in format—short coding or fundamentals-style questioning—sometimes paired with system design or low-level implementation topics. In one conversation, it was mostly a focused 45-minute exchange with an engineer manager, leaning into system design and low-level details. In another, the interviewers asked a small set of technical questions with guidance, where I could follow their feedback and adjust my approach.
