After a recruiter call managed through Risebird, I ended up going through two interview rounds that felt strangely detached from the actual client and role. Both interviewers had very limited knowledge of what the project really needed, and the second round didn’t correct that gap—it basically mirrored the same experience. The interviewer also seemed unaware of what had been discussed earlier, and I couldn’t get a clear explanation of how the interview mapped to the client’s expectations.
What hurt most wasn’t even the lack of alignment as much as the silence afterward. I sent multiple follow-up emails expecting at least some feedback or an update on the status, but I never received anything. The whole process felt unorganized and lacking transparency, to the point where I genuinely wondered whether there was a real hiring requirement or if interviews were being run without a clear position to fill.

Average Positive Mumbai
My interview process moved quickly through several stages, starting with a virtual technical round coordinated via naukari. After that first technical screen, I had a second technical round, and then it progressed into a final managerial discussion followed by an HR discussion.
One detail that stood out was how they handled timing if there was an offer. They weren’t just discussing expectations, they were asking immediately about joining—either accepting right away or giving a short window of about 15 days.
