My interview process lasted around a month and started with a call with a recruiter. After that, I met the hiring manager for about an hour, and then I had another hour with the hiring manager plus one other manager to review my CV in detail. Before the final panel, the hiring manager offered to meet ahead of time to discuss the project, answer questions, and set expectations, which ended up feeling unusually helpful.
The final stage was a panel presentation with the hiring manager and two other managers. The overall vibe was organized and intentional, and the communication felt clear enough that I wasn’t guessing what each round was testing. I didn’t end up receiving an offer, but the experience felt genuinely thoughtful and unusually well prepared for me.

Average Positive United States
I started with an intro call with a recruiter that focused on fit and mapping out next steps. Then I moved into a hiring manager interview, followed by a chronological deep dive that covered my career from start to present. The final piece was a more formal deliverable: a presentation with an intro about me, a review of a past deal I’d worked on, and then a pitch on why a customer should use Slack.
What I noticed immediately was how consistent the communication was leading up to the final round—there were clear expectations about what to do at each step. Even so, one unusual approach caught me off guard: the interviewers wouldn’t give feedback during the interviews themselves, and I had to adjust to that.
