After a recruiter call, the process moved into multiple interviews across managers, and I remember the overall experience felt responsive and organized on their side. The role focus stayed pretty consistent around selling fundamentals—especially cold calling and how I handled objections—while they also probed why I wanted Slack and how my background fit what they were looking for.
What stood out was how important it felt to go in with specific talking points about Slack and tie my past experience to the role. I also got a clear sense they weren’t trying to “start from scratch” on the fundamentals; they were more interested in candidates with relevant experience already.
