I’m not grouping these together: one ended badly at culture fit with negative HR feedback and unclear hiring status, while the other was a four-round sequence with Java/Spring Boot and multithreading plus managerial/project discussion. The overall feel and content don’t match closely enough for a single synthesized story.

Average Negative India
I went through what felt like a messy, inconsistent process. I found the opportunity on LinkedIn, then moved into round one with Python and SQL along with LeetCode-style questions. Round two was more hands-on with projects and PySpark coding, and it actually went so well that the interviewer asked me to look into a few things that could help with future work.
Then I reached the culture fit and communication round that lasted around 45 minutes, and that’s where the experience turned sour. I felt prepared and spoke to whatever I was asked, but the feedback ended up being negative enough that HR later suggested they’d rejected multiple people with a similar outcome. I also got told, via HR, that they weren’t hiring for that position anymore, which made the whole timeline and lack of clarity feel brutal. I never got a satisfying sense of what exactly went wrong, and the process ended without an offer.
