My experience was rough because of how the process ended. The final technical interview was scheduled, and then I got left hanging on a Zoom call for about thirty minutes with no real interaction. After that, I received an email saying they were moving forward with another candidate—even though I was still alone in the call.
That disconnect was the clearest memory I have from the process: the communication basically stopped while I was waiting. I didn’t get an offer, and it was the kind of experience that feels disrespectful because it treats the scheduled time as optional. The whole thing left me demotivated because I wasn’t even given a chance to finish the interview properly.

I came in with some skepticism about recruiting, so I was pretty defensive at first during the initial call. The recruiter stayed persistent and made the process feel unusually smooth, even working around weekends to keep momentum. Across three interviews, the vibe was friendly and conversational rather than stiff.
The first technical step was with my future manager, followed by discussions with a PM and then the PM’s manager. The final round was with the VP of my future division. The conversations were enjoyable, and the questions felt aligned with understanding how I worked and how I’d fit into the team, more than trying to catch me off guard.
