My interviews leaned heavily toward behavioral questions and general fit, and that showed up immediately in how the process was run. I started with basic recruiter-style screening and then moved into short interview conversations that stayed fairly “common question” focused—stuff like walking through my background and using the STAR method to answer situation-and-behavior prompts. Even when I was speaking with more than one person, it still felt like the goal was to understand how I think, how I respond under normal pressure, and whether I came across as teachable.

There was very little that felt like hardcore technical testing. In my session, the conversation mostly centered on my problem-solving examples—talking through problems I’d handled and how I resolved them—and on whether I had the interest and ambition to grow in the field. I remember the interviews also asked about things like accounting-related activity or coursework when relevant, and the environment felt intentionally approachable, especially for an entry-level role. At points, it even felt like the interviewers were just trying to see if I could be myself, not perform.
