The first thing I did was an aptitude test that was mostly straightforward. After that, I ran into a C/C++-focused technical test that drilled into basics around pointers. The questions weren’t just “what is a pointer,” but also details like whether certain pointer usages were allowed and how array indexing works when pointers are involved.
As I went deeper, the difficulty increased in a way that felt oddly picky. The technical questioning went beyond simple concepts and behavior, pushing me to stay tightly on each topic while answering a lot of OS and C++ questions, plus some bit-manipulation content. Overall, it felt like they really wanted breadth across lower-level fundamentals, and I left the process feeling that the bar was higher than “entry-level C++ knowledge.”
