Average Positive Canada

After I applied and got shortlisted, I ended up on a preliminary recruiter-style call that felt more like an eligibility/fit check than a deep interview. About a week later, I had the main round with branch managers—one of the people I spoke with was also the team manager—so the conversation was very focused on what they were looking for. The whole thing lasted roughly an hour and, thankfully, there weren’t any further interviews after that.

Most of the discussion centered on my background and how I handled real situations: previous experience, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving. They asked behavioural questions using a STAR-style structure, and I remember being prompted to explain why I wanted to work at the bank and what I knew about it. They also brought up how I’d build relationships with clients while still meeting sales or service goals. Throughout, the vibe stayed professional but friendly, with an emphasis on communication, integrity, and handling a fast-paced environment.

Easy Positive Toronto, ON

My process felt pretty smooth from the start. I first spoke with an internal recruiter for a fairly basic screen, and the person I met was friendly and kept things straightforward. After that, I moved into an in-person round that included a written test, with multiple people interviewing me across about forty-five minutes, followed by another forty-five minutes for the assessment.

For the content, it was the usual blend of motivation and fit plus practical questions tied to the role—conversation flowed rather than feeling combative. I also heard back quickly after the first round, and the invitation to the next stage came within about a week. What surprised me was how long it took to finalize the formal offer paperwork even though the interview pace itself moved fast. Overall, it stayed easygoing, and the interviewers guided me through the questions rather than throwing anything totally unexpected.
