Difficult Positive Doha

After a recruiter call, I ended up in a fairly long product-focused loop that stretched over several weeks. The process mixed behavioral questions with product-sense work, and the product portion felt very much like “big scope” thinking rather than narrow problem solving. I remember it being emphasized that the work was AI-focused, and the cases reflected that—there was a lot to reason through and a lot of room to shape the approach.

By the time I got to the live interviews, I was facing multiple interviewers and each round seemed to test a different angle of how I thought: some rounds leaned into product sense and design thinking, while others pulled in analytical thinking and fit. Most conversations felt natural—more like discussing a problem and my reasoning than a stiff Q&A where I only answered and then moved on. HR coordination also stood out as smooth, with clear scheduling and a structured process behind the scenes.

Difficult Negative United States

I went through what started like a fairly direct sequence: a recruiter call and then a technical loop with multiple people. The interviews were set up as a standard “speak with different stakeholders” progression, and I experienced it as a multi-interviewer technical process rather than a single conversation.

What stood out was how the end of the process changed on me. At a late stage, I was told they were adding another person to speak with—effectively increasing the technical “loop” part of the day. Then things shifted again: I was left feeling like the decision had been moved around after there had been talk that an offer might be possible.

The interviews often felt conversational, allowing candidates to discuss their reasoning and approach rather than just answering questions.
