My experience was hard to shake because the tone of the interviews felt unprofessional. I applied online and then received a recruiter call more than a month later. The schedule happened quickly afterward, with a virtual technical interview on Teams the very next day.

During the interview, I could tell the interviewer wasn’t prepared in the way I expected—there was a sense that they hadn’t reviewed my resume. He seemed to be multitasking and even had me minimize Teams for a chunk of the time, so it felt awkward not being able to see him clearly while I was visible. The way he spoke was condescending, and the overall vibe was that he wanted to project superiority rather than engage.

The process I went through was three rounds, with extra HR follow-ups before and after the interviews. I applied through Glassdoor, and the communications felt consistent enough that I wasn’t left guessing where I stood. The technical rounds were split by topic: one was focused on React, another on Java.

After the tech discussions, there was a managerial round to close things out. I remember spending time tying my experience to what they were evaluating—how I thought about the work and how I’d explain decisions—rather than just reciting syntax. The follow-ups around HR were part of the overall experience, not an afterthought.
