Average Positive Stockholm, Stockholm

I started with an HR screening, then the process moved into two online interviews. The first part felt more personal—about 30 to 40 minutes—where I talked through why credit and why S&P Global. The second round was technical, also around 30 to 40 minutes. I was asked to connect my background to what the role would involve and explain my interest in the company and the area.

I felt the difficulty was average overall. Across the two interviews, the conversations stayed fairly structured: the “why S&P / why you” pieces came up alongside topics that probed how I’d think about the role. In the technical section, I was tested on fundamentals related to the work, and I ended up talking through my comfort with finance concepts rather than doing any heavy math. The format was straightforward, and I left feeling like the questions were meant to measure fit and baseline technical understanding more than trick me.

Average Positive Gurgaon, Haryana

After the recruiter-style start, I went through a sequence of interviews that ended up feeling supportive rather than intimidating. I had multiple rounds that were all online: one focused heavily on behavioral and motivation, and then later interviews that brought in technical knowledge. The behavioral portion was around 30 minutes, and it was mainly about how I’d present my background, why I wanted the role, and how I showed up in situations.

The later rounds leaned more into credit and accounting-style knowledge, and I remember it also touching on world news—so I wasn’t just asked to recall facts, I had to talk through how I’d interpret the information. The overall difficulty landed at average. What surprised me most was how much time they seemed to allow for thinking; interviewers gave room to gather my thoughts and answer properly instead of pushing me into a stressed, rapid-fire mode.
