Easy Positive United States

After a recruiter call, I ended up in a couple Zoom conversations where the vibe was genuinely easygoing. The early chat was mainly about background, plus a culture/fit check, and it also covered the basics like what I expected in compensation and what the role actually involved. Across those conversations, the questions were mostly behavioral—how I’d worked in the past, how I approached responsibilities, and whether I was a good match for the kind of environment the firm described.

As the process moved forward, I spoke with leadership and managers, and it stayed pretty conversation-based rather than feeling like a strict Q&A. One thread that came up was how I’d used Excel in real projects and school work, and I also talked through examples that showed how I’d fit into a consulting-style role. I remember it taking about a week or two for the core rounds, and most of my interactions felt straightforward and low-pressure, even when the camera setup made things a little awkward.

Average Neutral United States

I went through a fairly typical recruiter-to-leadership flow that felt like it was mostly about fit and interest. There were two or three conversations total: first with a recruiter, then with a manager, and finally with a director. The questions stayed pretty basic—centered on my background and what I was looking for—and they also wanted to hear my interest in finance.

Even though the interviews themselves felt interesting, the timeline stretched out longer than I expected. By the end, I felt like the overall process took too much time for the decision-making, especially given that the actual conversations didn’t feel overly complex.
