After applying, I got moved into a competency skills test and then into a pre-recorded interview-style round. For that recorded stage, the questions appeared one at a time and I had a set amount of time to prepare my response before recording myself answering. The questions were mostly straightforward, but the time pressure was what got to me more than anything—less like a normal conversation and more like racing the clock.
Overall it felt like an efficient screening process, but I came away slightly put off by how impersonal it was compared with a live call. I didn’t end up getting an offer, and my main takeaway was that the format matters as much as the content—speed and clarity under pressure didn’t feel like my strongest mode.

Average Positive Melbourne
The process started with a group day with students from different service lines. We were brought together on the same date, got time to know each other, and then were assigned into teams to work together. After that team component, I had individual interviews.
The impression I got from the individual rounds was that they were really trying to confirm whether I was the right fit for the company. It wasn’t just about what I said in isolation; the group work and how I interacted seemed to be part of the picture.
