Negative New York, NY

My experience started off with a scheduling mishap that threw everything off. A recruiter contacted me by phone to set a time, and I rearranged my availability around the call because I was genuinely interested.

When the scheduled time came, the call never happened. Later I realized the recruiter had sent an invitation for a video interview shortly before it was due, while I was already in another meeting. I joined the call late by only a few minutes trying to sort it out, but the recruiter never joined either. I followed up politely by email afterward, and then I heard nothing back.

Average Positive Detroit, MI

I found out about the role through an event and then got pulled into an on-site process that started with a phone screen and moved quickly into a panel-style conversation. The dynamic felt pretty stern, with scenario questions and hypotheticals that pushed me to think through how I’d handle sales situations rather than just talk about my experience.

After that initial step, the process escalated into an almost all-day visit. I had to give a presentation to the interview panel covering my background and how it connected to the job, and there was also time with other interviewers where the group shared lunch together. Later, I went through a round-robin set of behavioral questions, cycling through multiple people and having to stay sharp across different viewpoints.
