I talked with a recruiter first, and then about a week later I did two one-hour technical screens back to back—one focused on frontend and one on general programming. I heard they went well, and we moved quickly to scheduling a virtual onsite about two weeks after that.

The onsite had four one-hour interviews: another frontend round, another general programming round, a system design interview, and a manager interview. There was supposed to be a prep chat before the onsite, but it never got scheduled. I waited, then found out later that they were looking for stronger performance across the non-frontend technical parts.

After a recruiter call, I had a coding test where I paired with another frontend engineer on a live REPL running in the browser during a Zoom session. The whole thing felt like a straightforward technical checkpoint focused on doing the work interactively rather than just reviewing code offline. It ended without an offer, and I didn’t get the kind of follow-through that would’ve made the process feel complete.
