My process started with a basic phone screen covering react and behavior questions. After that, I went into two technical rounds with engineers, but the experience felt unusually unorganized from the beginning. One interviewer started about twenty minutes late and then ended early, and during the sessions it felt like people were distracted—looking at the clock, replying in chat, and generally not giving the prompt the attention it deserved.

They also seemed unclear about how the prompt should be completed. I was given around twenty-five minutes to build a full notification UI to match a mock exactly, including JavaScript logic to make it interactive, and I remember feeling confused about what “good” looked like because the communication around the task didn’t feel coherent. After those technical rounds, I expected a manager discussion, but the manager never showed.
