Average Positive Richardson, TX

After a recruiter touchpoint, I went through a four-stage process. It felt fairly straightforward in the sense that the questions were the kind of things I expected for the industry and the role, not some obscure curveball that required obscure knowledge. Even so, the overall pace dragged longer than I was first told, and the timing felt tied to a busy period inside the company.

The last step ended up being the toughest. I met with the VP along with the senior sales director, and that final conversation was where the difficulty really showed up. The questions were framed as “typical” rather than trick questions, but the pressure of that level of leadership made it harder to stay completely relaxed.

Easy Neutral United States

My path started with the direct hiring manager, and then I worked my way up through leadership: first the VP of Sales, and then a final interview with the SVP of Business Development. The whole arc was pretty clear to me once I got into the process.

I had a recruiter involved the whole time, and that support actually stood out. Communication and logistics felt handled well enough that I didn’t feel like I was guessing what came next.
