I started with an online video interview, which felt pretty light at first compared with the rest of the process. Not long after, I had a phone conversation with an analyst that was essentially the first real check-in, and then about a month later I went through an in-person final round with five back-to-back interviews with people across the team.
Across both stages, there were technical components mixed with basic questions. The difficulty felt manageable overall, and the flow of the interviews was structured rather than chaotic. I walked out feeling like I understood what they were looking for, even though the role ultimately wasn’t a match for me and I didn’t receive an offer. What stood out most was how the process stretched out over weeks, with the in-person day doing the heavy lifting.

My process started with an HR screening call, then moved into two virtual interview rounds. Each of those rounds included both an associate and a VP, so the conversations felt like they were being calibrated at different levels at the same time. I didn’t feel like it dragged—everything stayed fairly straightforward from application to interviews.
After that, there was an in-person superday about a week later that turned into a full day of back-to-back interviews: six rounds, each about 30 minutes, with different people ranging from analysts up to MDs. The superday felt like the main event, and I remember it being focused on how I thought through the role and how I interacted with each person on the team, not just whether I could recite finance jargon.
