Recruiter contact kicked things off, and the process moved fast into a very structured sequence. After that first conversation, about a week later I was sent into a technical screening that combined a HackerRank assignment with a data-science quiz. The coding part felt like it was testing both my execution and my ability to reason under time pressure, and the quiz reinforced that it wasn’t just “write code and move on.”

From there, I went into two round-based interviews that felt tightly connected to my past work and to how I’d think through ambiguous business inputs. First came a pair of interviews: one was a blended business case, and the other mixed a personal experience discussion with a technical experience element. My first business-case discussion focused on what kind of data I’d ask for, how I’d interpret the provided graphs or statistics, what solutions I’d propose, and then which model I’d use and how I’d evaluate it. I also got a couple of theory checks, including the difference between boosting and bagging. The second interview round followed soon after, again in a blended format with more business-case style work plus personal experience.

After that, I was asked about GenAI concepts, and later I met a senior interviewer who dug into my project again with more GenAI discussion.
