My process felt pretty straightforward and mostly leaned on basics. After an initial screening, I went into a set of mostly theoretical questions that stayed at an introductory level rather than going very deep.
They asked me what software testing is and why it matters, plus the difference between QA and testing. I got questions on manual testing versus automation testing, and they also covered the SDLC and STLC at a high level. I remember being asked to name the types of testing I knew—things like functional, regression, smoke, and sanity—and then they shifted into fundamentals like what a bug is versus a defect, including a brief bug lifecycle discussion.

Average Positive Ghansoli
My journey ran through three rounds: a group discussion, an aptitude test, and then an interview focused more on communication. The whole sequence felt structured, but it didn’t ultimately lead to me signing anything.
I declined the offer because of a contract detail that stood out to me—there was a two-year bond and a penalty if I chose to leave early. Even though the offered salary sounded workable at first glance, the penalty figure (mentioned as 2.5 LPA) made the decision feel too risky for me.
