The later stage was a VP interview, again shaped by the market, and it came after the in-office step. Overall, it didn’t feel overly technical, but there was definitely an emphasis on sales execution and how I would operate in the role. When I think back on it, what stood out most was the way the format shifted from conversational screening to hands-on simulations, and how unclear communications could sometimes be—there was at least one point where I wasn’t clearly informed about next steps and only received a generic email after the second interview, without much feedback. The journey stretched across multiple touchpoints rather than being a single fast decision.
