Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Analyst, Methodology, your daily work revolves around creating the "rules of the road" for Purplelab’s analytical products. You will spend a significant portion of your day in SQL, designing and optimizing the logic that powers clinical groupers and risk-adjustment models. Your code is the foundation of the product, meaning accuracy and scalability are your primary goals.
Beyond the code, you will act as a translator. When a product manager asks for a new feature to track clinical outcomes, you will be the one to determine if the data supports it, how the logic should be structured, and what the potential "gotchas" are. You will collaborate daily with engineers to ensure your logic is implemented efficiently in the production environment and with clinical experts to ensure the methodology makes sense from a medical perspective.
