Average Negative Israel

My process started with a phone interview, then I was assigned a home task involving React, Node.js, and Express. I worked within the deadline window, and the experience felt like a normal take-home assignment until something odd happened.

Before the deadline, I received an email saying they were moving forward with other candidates and then that it was a mistake. Even though they said it was a mistake, I later received the same type of email again the next day, which left me confused about whether I’d truly been rejected or just caught in an administrative error.
