Average Negative Barcelona

After I applied, it took a long stretch of silence before a recruiter reached back out and asked about my availability for the week. Once I replied right away, I didn’t hear anything for another stretch, and when the response finally came it was basically just that the job had slots and I should confirm. The interview itself felt disorganized from the start: there was no clear walkthrough of the process, and the questions were mostly pure screening. I kept trying to get substance on the role and what they actually needed, but the answers kept circling back to not having the information and pointing me to a later round with the hiring manager.

A few days after that, I received a generic rejection message that felt especially off because there wasn’t much context behind the decision. When I asked for clarification and what grounds they used to evaluate me, I got a follow-up that the position had been closed. It was honestly one of the most frustrating parts—feeling like my questions weren’t meant to be answered, and then getting a dead-end email instead of a real explanation.

Average Negative Milan

My process dragged out far longer than I expected. I ended up going through a large number of interviews—seven total—with multiple rounds that included in-person meetings and conversations with the EMEA leadership team. The experience itself was not framed as difficult technically; it was more like a steady sequence of discussions across stakeholders.

After the last interview, I asked for an update and was told to wait for “the process.” I kept expecting something to land, but the timeline stretched until it felt completely unproductive. Even after six months, I was still left without a clear answer or useful feedback—just another request to wait.
