The beginning of my process was mostly about logistics and scheduling, but it quickly turned frustrating. I had to email multiple times just to confirm times for a technical interview and eventually ended up doing an office visit. After that, I wasn’t given any solid timeline for feedback or what the next step would be.
When I didn’t hear anything for weeks, I reached out to talent acquisition for an update, and the response was generic—something like they’d get back to me soon. Eventually I received a workday-style email saying they wouldn’t continue with my application, and there was no real feedback or explanation.

Average Positive Rome
My HR conversation left me with a good impression. It focused on my study path and the projects I’d done while I was in school, and then it shifted toward what I wanted in a job—my goals for the role and where I saw myself growing next. The conversation also included a broader description of the company itself: how it’s structured and how the pieces fit together.
The difficulty felt average, but the tone was more informational than interrogative. I felt comfortable during it and came away thinking the company was presenting itself clearly.
