I went through a campus-style funnel that started with a tough online assessment packed with breadth. The first round had a large set of MCQs across aptitude and computer science topics, plus multiple programming formats: several pseudo-code questions and multiple coding questions, alongside several SQL questions. Even the theory felt targeted, like I needed to justify choices between MySQL and NoSQL for a banking scenario. Overall it felt more challenging than I expected, and I spent extra time making sense of the requirements before I could even start getting answers.
After that assessment, only a small number of people moved forward, so the stakes felt real. The rest of the process leaned heavily on fundamentals and how clearly I could reason—especially around SQL and pseudo-code, where I could feel gaps in how confidently I understood what the questions were truly asking. Once I cleared the first stage, I still didn’t make it through the later round, and the part that stuck with me was that the deeper evaluation wasn’t just about getting a couple of problems right; it was about showing strong, connected understanding.

Difficult Negative Porur
My interview journey kicked off with a campus drive that felt structured and fast. I started with an online assessment that mixed aptitude, analytic thinking, and coding—there were multiple pseudo-code and SQL questions along with coding problems. The coding part was the hardest for me because the requirements didn’t always land clearly right away, so I had to slow down and re-parse what they wanted before I could implement anything.
When I got shortlisted, the next step was a technical interview that still stayed resume-and-project oriented, with additional DSA-style and SQL questions being part of the conversation. I found it difficult because it wasn’t just memorization; they expected deeper problem-solving and the ability to explain how I arrived at solutions. After that, there was a programming-style round where I had to code based on my profile, and it felt selective and high-signal.
