Difficult Negative Boston, MA

I had an interview experience that left a really sour taste. From the start, the conversation felt cold and the interviewer came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. The overall atmosphere made me feel like it wasn’t professionally run, and it kept me on edge rather than letting me settle in and discuss my background.

By the end, I didn’t feel like I’d just gone through a normal hiring loop—I felt dismissed by the tone and the way the interaction was handled. I left with a negative impression of both the interview process and the company, and I was honestly more focused on how unpleasant it felt than on the technical substance of the discussion.

Average Positive Canada

My process felt pretty straightforward and low-stress. I went through three rounds in total: an HR screen, a culture or situational discussion, and then a technical round. The whole thing was conversational rather than intense, and it didn’t turn into a coding sprint or any system design deep dive.

Across the interviews, everyone seemed nice, and the sessions weren’t especially long. Overall, it felt like a standard screening flow—nothing dragged, and I never really felt overwhelmed. I didn’t end up with an offer, but the experience itself felt organized and not overly stressful.
