My process leaned heavily into sales storytelling and product thinking. After a background discussion that tied my experience to what Practo could do for my career, I went into a sale-pitch style conversation where I had to explain how I’d sell a product and then walk through a demo representation. The manager wanted it to feel like a real customer conversation, not just a memorized script.
On top of that, they pressed me about why I was choosing the health sector and why I was leaving my current role. I also had to handle how I’d respond to difficulties and challenges—especially how I’d use my past experience when things don’t go perfectly. What stood out most was the interviewing style: lots of sales-experience questions, and the interview was conducted in both Hindi and English, which made it feel more conversational and adaptive to my communication.

Easy Neutral Bengaluru
I started with a pretty light HR-style screen where the focus was on me introducing myself clearly and selling my story. The interviewer asked why I was interested in sales, and I had to talk through how my college activities connected to convincing communication. There was also a lot of emphasis on negotiation skills and general communication rather than anything technical.
What surprised me was how much they stayed in the “how well can you present yourself” lane—education background, languages, and what I’d done in college—rather than deep diving into domain experience. Overall it felt straightforward and welcoming, and the process matched that energy from the start.

Aptitude and Psychometric Testing
Candidates may undergo aptitude and psychometric tests early in the process, designed to evaluate cognitive abilities and personality traits relevant to sales roles. These assessments are often time-constrained and serve as elimination steps.
The overall tone of the interviews tends to be supportive and conversational, aimed at making candidates feel comfortable while assessing their fit for the role. However, some candidates noted inconsistencies in communication and follow-through after interviews.
Candidates should be prepared for a potentially lengthy timeline, especially after interviews, with some reporting delays in communication regarding offers or next steps. While initial rounds may be quick, the follow-up process can vary significantly.
