The hiring process consisted of only three interviews: first with the recruiter, then with the team’s tech lead, and finally a panel with two other senior or lead engineers. There was no live coding test and no home assignment at all.
Between each stage there was about a week gap, and after the interviews I got semi-ghosted. I would email every Thursday, and they typically replied on Friday evening saying feedback was really good and I’d be a great addition, but that the response would come early next week—then nothing until I followed up again. This dragged on for three weeks, and eventually I was told they moved ahead with someone else. The apology and explanation didn’t land well for me, especially given how many other positions looked like a fit from what I saw elsewhere, but I appreciated that they closed the loop rather than leaving it completely open.

Easy Negative Spain
The hiring process felt ridiculous and I didn’t enjoy it. It was only three interviews: a recruiter first, then the team’s tech lead, and then a panel with two other senior or lead engineers. There was no live coding test and no take-home work, which would’ve been fine if the timing and communication had been respectful.
After the interviews I was semi-ghosted. There were about week-long gaps between stages, and once the interviews were done I heard nothing until I emailed every Thursday. Replies came Friday evening saying the feedback was really good and I’d be a great addition, but then they kept pushing the response to “early next week,” and I’d have to follow up again. This continued for three weeks before being told they chose another candidate and that no other openings matched. It ended with an offer to keep me in mind for future roles, and I declined, choosing not to apply again.
