Difficult Neutral United States

I went through a pretty intense, heavily technical loop where it felt like I was being tested continuously across multiple rounds—six or more. The focus was very math-forward, with repeated questions spanning calculus, probability, and statistics, plus a few brain-teaser style questions thrown in for contrast. Even though each round moved me along, the overall vibe stayed consistently technical and demanding.

What stood out most was the coding test at the end. They gave a defined time window to submit, and it was the final hurdle after all the math and reasoning rounds. By that point I felt worn down from the sustained difficulty, and I was aware the process was pushing pretty hard on both depth and stamina. I didn’t end up with an offer, and honestly the overall feel was that everything was calibrated to separate people who could comfortably operate at a high quantitative level under pressure.

Average Positive Hong Kong

After applying through a recruiter, my process ended up taking about a month. It was five rounds total, and the structure felt split between technical/product people and a final functional check.

Four of the rounds were with PM/developer/researcher profiles. Those conversations mixed math and stats questions with experience-based discussion, though the overall emphasis leaned more toward how I’d handled real work than pure abstract math. The last round was with a compliance officer, which gave the process a noticeably different tone at the end—less about problem-solving and more about fit and constraints.
