Difficult Positive Detroit, MI

My process started with an initial recruiter screen, and it quickly felt like the rest was going to be pretty structured. After that call, I moved into a meeting with senior leadership—first a director conversation and then another with a senior director—both focused on how I thought about the role and how I’d approach customer success.

The biggest chunk was the role play with the director and senior director. They set up a scenario with a large customer where I had to work through discovery: identify what might be going on, figure out what information I’d need, and then propose a solution path based on what I learned. It wasn’t about memorizing answers so much as thinking clearly under pressure while explaining my reasoning.

Easy Negative United Kingdom

Before the interview even went live, I had an informal chat where I was told I’d receive information about the role. I never got it. I followed up by email about the opportunity and still heard nothing back, which left me with a pretty bad first impression.

What made it frustrating was that the lack of follow-through happened early, before any real interview could even happen. I was left chasing answers that should have been handled automatically.
