My process started with an online assessment scored out of 600 points. It felt like a straightforward filter, and once I cleared it I moved into two technical rounds. Those rounds leaned heavily on programming plus SQL-style questions, with the interviewers also probing DSA and even basic system design and role context. After the second technical round, I expected some final wrap-up through the college placement track, but I didn’t end up receiving any clear update about the result.
Overall the experience felt pretty standard in structure—assessment first, then back-to-back technical interviews—and the difficulty matched that “average” lane. The part that stuck with me wasn’t the questions as much as the silence afterward; it made the end of the loop feel unfinished compared to the effort I’d already put in.

Average Positive Birmingham, England
I kicked things off with a recruiter call where we discussed the role and my background. The recruiter also walked me through how the process would go, and it immediately put me at ease. After that I had a hiring manager conversation that was mostly behavioral—questions about why I chose software engineering, projects I was proud of from my resume, and how I think about teamwork and communication. Toward the end, the tone shifted slightly technical, with a few fundamentals sprinkled in, including things like C++ and DSA.
The next step I got was a live React interview, then a system design discussion, and finally a culture fit round. The questions stayed on the more professional, respectful side, and nothing felt hostile. I left each stage feeling like the interviewers were focused on fit and clarity rather than tricking me with obscure trivia. By the time I reached the culture fit portion, the overall experience felt well organized and thoughtful, even though I still never got to a clean final decision.

Interview Structure & Timeline
The interview process typically begins with a recruiter call, followed by a series of technical rounds that may include coding assessments, system design discussions, and behavioral interviews. Candidates should expect a structured flow with multiple stages, often culminating in a culture fit round.
Technical interviews are a significant part of the process, focusing on coding (often LeetCode-style), SQL questions, and system design. Candidates should prepare for a mix of live coding and theoretical questions, with an emphasis on both depth and breadth across topics like OOP and data structures.
