Difficult Positive Ciudad de Mexico

My interviews were organized as multiple technical rounds. I had a first round focused on data structures and algorithms, then a second set of rounds that included two data-structures/algorithms interviews along with an architecture design round and a behavioral round.

The DSA questions were described as hard or medium LeetCode challenges, and some of them were custom. Overall it felt difficult going in and didn’t end with an offer. The main impression I carried was that the evaluation was heavy on coding depth plus architecture, not just general software familiarity.

I felt good about how the process ran. It started with a phone screen, then moved into two coding interviews. After that, I went through an architecture round and a manager interview. Most of what I saw across the rounds was LeetCode-style content.

I came out of the interviews thinking they went well—I even got indications like a “lean hire” signal on all of them. Still, the final result didn’t go my way because there was only one position and someone else had better performance. It was disappointing, but at least the conversations themselves felt structured and respectful, and I didn’t feel like I was being judged out of nowhere.
