Difficult Negative Bengaluru

My hiring journey dragged on and never felt transparent. After multiple interviews, the process became especially unclear when background-check style requirements turned into requests that felt out of nowhere, including being asked for a resignation letter from my current job even though the role supposedly wasn’t final yet. During that long stretch, I kept hearing the same vague idea that only “minimal details” were left to start, with no concrete timeline.

As weeks passed, communication basically fell apart. I didn’t receive a clear formal update, and I kept trying to get answers after interviews where I’d already provided everything they asked for. Each time I reached out, I was given vague excuses tied to project onboarding, or I would just not get replies at all. There was also a point where I was left waiting after onboarding paperwork was processed, without any helpful information about what was happening next.

Difficult Positive Bengaluru

I went into Photon with the idea that things would move normally, and the early stages felt manageable. One experience was described as simple and easy: I cleared the document steps, got far enough to be selected, and yet my offer stayed pending with no clear explanation. Another time, the process also felt average—technical and practical coding, with HR and other steps depending on the client—but I left with the same sense that the process didn’t conclude cleanly.

When I look at what made the experience feel stressful, it wasn’t always the interview content—it was the uncertainty around progress and timing. In one difficult attempt, I noticed how mismatch in expectations mattered: I went in as a fresher but was asked experienced-level questions in a first technical round. I ended up getting rejected, and the session still included a coding-style prompt at the end.
