What is a Supply Chain Analyst at Peloton interactive?
As a Supply Chain Analyst at Peloton Interactive, you sit at the crucial intersection of hardware manufacturing, global logistics, and member experience. Peloton does not just sell software; it designs, manufactures, and ships complex, heavy connected-fitness equipment like the Peloton Bike, Tread, and Rower across the globe. This means the supply chain is highly complex, involving international ocean freight, domestic middle-mile transit, warehousing, and white-glove last-mile delivery.
In this role, your primary objective is to optimize these logistics networks to reduce costs, improve delivery speeds, and ensure inventory is positioned efficiently. You will analyze large datasets to identify bottlenecks in warehousing, forecast demand patterns, and manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Your insights will directly impact Peloton Interactive's bottom line and ensure that when a customer purchases equipment, it arrives at their home seamlessly.
This position requires a unique blend of technical data proficiency, domain expertise in logistics, and strong communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional partners in finance, product engineering, and last-mile operations. To succeed, you must be comfortable navigating ambiguity and using data to tell a compelling story that drives operational decisions.
