Average Positive Bengaluru

I started with a recruiter conversation, and shortly after I received an invite to an online coding round. The coding round was followed by two technical interviews, and then I had a final round with the hiring manager.

Overall it felt pretty standard for the role: recruiter intro first, then progressively more technical conversations, ending with the manager. I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the process itself was paced cleanly and moved through the rounds without a lot of waiting that I could feel.

Difficult Positive Colombo, Western

After a recruiter touchpoint, I went into an online technical interview that lasted about an hour. It was the longest interview I’d done so far, and it covered a wide spread of topics—starting with Java fundamentals and going into more advanced concepts, plus Git and version control practices. We also spent time on frontend development knowledge, and the discussion was rounded out with general software engineering concepts.

What surprised me was how much the interview also focused on how I communicated and how I approached problem-solving, not just whether I knew the technical details. The format felt like a serious depth interview rather than a quick screen. When the first technical round went well, there was a second round with the line manager that was mainly behavioral—teamwork, communication, work attitude, and overall soft-skill fit.
