Average Negative London, England

After initial outreach, I went through the typical multi-round structure: a recruiter screen, then manager discussions, and finally a panel format. I experienced the recruiter and manager rounds as more general conversation, then the panel session became the most distinct part of the journey—structured and noticeably different from the earlier talks.

During the panel, I was asked to develop a business plan based on the current state of the team and explain how I would implement ideas to address gaps they were dealing with. It felt less like an interview and more like being asked to do consulting work, especially since it focused on problematic areas they hadn’t solved yet.

Average Neutral United States

I went through a multi-level interview process that felt traditional and eventually ended with a verbal offer. The problem was that it didn’t stay in place—communication after that was minimal, and the offer was later pulled back.

What made it especially hard was that I didn’t get much explanation or information as things changed. After that, I received a rejection letter in the mail, which confirmed the outcome but didn’t really help me understand the gap between the verbal offer and the reversal.
